The club has its base in the Staffordshire Moorlands, and does most of its caving in the Derbyshire area, but also caves frequently in South Wale , Yorkshire (and the other caving areas). The club has been going for about 14 year now and has members from all over the country, plus a few abroad.
Harston Caving Club welcomes new members from anyone over the age of 16 with an interest in any caving areas.
The club maintains a stock of ropes, ladders and other tackle which is available to full members via the Equipment officer. In addition a limited number of personal equipment (e.g. Lamps) is available.
The club also maintains a library of books, periodicals, maps and surveys relating to caving.

Derbyshire Caving Association (DCA) National Caving Assocition (NCA) These affiliations enable the club to secure access to restricted caves, insurance, use of other libraries and other services for it's members
